Indigo can produce many variations of blue. But did you know that pairing it with different mordants and modifiers it can also produce greens and greys? Learn how to prepare a prereduced indigo vat for dyeing, then explore the wonderful techniques of eco printing by combining a tannin and a mordant on silk scarves. Use leaves from the area and eucalyptus to make botanical eco prints on four silk scarves. No experience necessary. Limit 6 students.
