A new addition to the Palm Washboard family of tools for wet felting — the MINI WEDGE Palm Washboard, exclusively from HeartFelt Silks. This unique wet felting tool has a sharp point and a rounded end. Ideal for small areas that have tight corners, and for fine and small detailed felting manipulation, as well as for working on pleats and folds. The MINI WEDGE also fits inside vessels and 3D objects.
Designed, developed, and hand-crafted in Stillwater, Minnesota, the wood Palm Washboard tools from HeartFelt Silks greatly simplify the final steps of wet felting. This allows fiber art enthusiasts to focus on creativity, as the tedium of hand rolling has been entirely removed from the process.
Using our tools you can combine elements of needle felting, nuno felting and wet felting. The process is easy to learn and will help you design your accessories like a pro. The Palm Washboard is the newest and greatest way to wet felt your fibers together. All Palm Washboards are made of native hard woods, turned on a lathe, and finished with three coats of epoxy finish. Instructions and mesh netting fabric are included.
This tool uses some of the following woods: Cherry, Butternut, Maple, Black Walnut, Red Cedar.
